With the World Cup just around the corner, the US team got a boost in the friendly with Turkey when then won 2-1 with the winning goal scored by Fulham's Clint Dempsey. With a clean pass from Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey blitz the Turkish defence to score the decisive winning goal.

Clint Dempsey almost had a second goal under his cap when he got a beautiful pass from Michael Bradley which unfortunately found the post.

Fulham European Fairy Tale Story

The latest step for Fulham in their bid for European qualification, moved them closer to their European dream by beating Hamburg 2-1 yesterday.  With leading scorer Bobby Zamora hitting his stride and  Hodgson reaping the rewards for building a well knit team, Fulham seems sure to get into the Europa League this year. Nice to see some of the other clubs doing well outside of the BPL.
