Lionel Messi shows he is simply the best by scoring 2 goals against Ajax and matching Raul's all-time Champions League goal scoring record with his 71st goal. Lionel Messi's goal put FC Barcelona in the lead and marching on in the Champions League.

Trailing behind in the goal scoring is Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United and Real Madrid) with 70 goals, Ruud van Nistelrooy (PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, Real Madrid) with 56 goals and Thierry Henry (Monaco, Arsenal, Barcelona) with 50 goals.
