Going to the STGCC 2012 Singapore Toys Games and Comic Convention 2012, I received a pleasant surprise at the Singapore Post booth as I was greeted with the Marvel and Spider-man Ultimate 50 covers collection. This is a limited edition stamp set released by Singapore Post consisting of a serialized Spider-man set which has a sheet of 50 great Spider-man comic cover stamps capturing key moments in Spider-man's life. Also included is a special cover with great Spider-man art and a copy of The Amazing Spider-man #1 featuring the Fantastic Four!

Normally the Marvel Universe comic packs actually come with comics depicting the momentous issue where the pair met but seems like there are some variants or factory error packs that seem to have missed this out.

Factory errors make great collector's items as the normal quality controls do not let such errors occur get out from the factory and therefor are rare to find.

Marvel Universe Wolverine vs Silver Samurai comic pack

Wolverine takes on the Silver Samurai and the Hand ninjas in the latest Marvel Universe comic pack. Wolverine / Patch is dressed in the black John Buscema costume as per cover of the Wolverine comic included in the pack. Interesting enough is that when you open the comic, Wolverine is dressed in his classic yellow costume and does not don the John Buscema black costume as depicted on the cover. That aside, it is a nice scale which fits better as part of the other X-men collection then some of the previous releases of Wolverine.

Silver Samurai is real cool and about 2 heads taller then Wolverine, which makes him close to the scale depicted in the comic. Nice detailing on his armor and comes with his samurai sword and short sword.
